Q: I am an employer so why should I offer your workshops to my employees?
A: Employees are pulled in so many directions outside work. The most effective employees are those whose home life and finances are stable. Financial trials are negatively impacting performance of the American worker. Companies are spending money each year on merit raises for those employees.  It is my position teaching financial literacy to those same employees has a greater return on investment as those employees become better money managers through education.  Without sound financial knowledge, most employees consume their merit increases before they receive their first paycheck with that merit raise.

An old Chinese Proverb says “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”  It is my position, teaching financial literacy to your employees has a far greater benefit to them long term than giving them merit increases that are consumed before the first paycheck with the merit raise arrives.

An old Chinese proverb says "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." That principle is important in providing financial education.  It has a lasting benefit to the employee and the family.
